Flags of Our Fathers
There were five Marines and one Navy Corpsman photographed raising the U.S. flag on Mt. Suribachi by Joe Rosenthal on February 23, 1945. This is the story of three of the six surviving servicemen – John ‘Doc’ Bradley, Pvt. Rene Gagnon and Pvt. Ira Hayes – who fought in the battle to take Iwo Jima from the Japanese.
This movie is one of my favorite movie the last time and I know I’ll be watching it soon again. The ‘best’ term is as you know from a relative term: You or I may not even be on the list of someone else whom we consider to be ‘the best’. So the general rule is to declare the majority of nations. Like the best, though, for me, it can be considered the most beautiful movie ever made. Flags of Our Fathers is a long movie, with the space and leisure to expand and explore its themes.
No movie ever has filled me with so much strange energy and gotten me so immersed in it. I did not know anything about this movie before, I did not even see a trailer, but I enjoyed it very much in the first place. The opening song still gives me goosebumps and increases the warmth of my body.
I’m not a true fan of war, but I’m like that too! I uploaded this movie to YesMovies, now every single person can watch this movie online free.
